Our journey commences by collecting you from your accommodation in Marrakech, and then we set off towards Telouet. Our route takes us over the majestic High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass which reaches a height of 2260 meters. Once we arrive in Telouet, we will explore the incredible Kasbah of Pasha Glaoui, and savor a delicious lunch at a nearby eatery. Following our meal, we'll traverse the picturesque Ounila valley, encountering traditional Berber settlements along the way, before arriving at the renowned Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. After our visit, we'll continue on to Ouarzazate where we'll enjoy a scrumptious dinner and spend an unforgettable night at a luxurious hotel.
Following a delightful breakfast in Ouarzazate, we'll embark on a drive towards Skoura, where we will marvel at the breathtaking Kasbah of Amredil. Situated in the palm groves on the famous "Route of one thousand Kasbahs," this Kasbah is a true wonder to behold. We'll then continue our journey to the magnificent Valley of Roses and cross the off-road, where we may have the opportunity to meet a nomadic family who resides in caves. Our adventure will take us to explore the remarkable rock formations of the Dades Gorges before pausing for a lunch break in Boulmane du Dades. Our excursion will proceed to Tineghir and finally, to the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges where we'll bask in the picturesque views of the Canyons. We'll spend the night in a Kasbah hotel and relish in a delectable dinner.
On the third day of our journey, we'll take a brief stroll through the Palm Plantations to savor the breathtaking views of the Todra River. Next, we'll drive towards Tinjedad to indulge in a wholesome lunch at a local restaurant. Our route will lead us through several quaint villages, including Touroug, a charming Berber settlement, and El-Jarf before we stop to explore a local fossil craft workshop in Erfoud. As our journey progresses, we'll venture towards the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes, also known as Merzouga Dunes, where we'll prepare for an hour-and-a-half-long camel ride, guided by an expert, that will take us to the campsite. Here, we'll spend the night in a traditional nomadic tent and savor a delectable dinner.
In the stunning desert landscape, you'll have the opportunity to rise early and witness a breathtaking sunrise from atop a sand dune. After breakfast, you'll hop on a camel and return to your hotel where you can unwind with a refreshing shower. Later, you'll embark on a 4x4 tour to explore the black volcanic rocks rich in fossils, immerse yourself in the mesmerizing Gnawa music in Khamlia village, and discover Lake Dayte Sarji, which attracts a variety of wildlife, including pink flamingos. After taking a break for lunch in either Merzouga or Hassi Labied, you'll have the chance to see the canal irrigation system and take a leisurely stroll through the stunning oasis. Finally, you'll enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night at an Auberge.
Following breakfast, we'll journey to Rissani to peruse the local marketplace (Souks). From there, we'll travel to Errachidia via Erfoud and Aoufous, pausing along the way to admire the stunning oasis in the Tafilalte region. We'll then continue our drive to Midelt, crossing through the Tizi N'talghamt pass. After taking a break for lunch, we'll embark on the final leg of our trip to Fes, the medieval city, passing through the Cedar forest near Azrou and the Middle Atlas mountain range. If time permits, we may even catch a glimpse of IFRAN, otherwise known as the Switzerland of Morocco, before arriving in Fes. The tour will conclude with drop off in Fes.
