Once you've had your breakfast at the hotel, you'll set out to explore the oldest city in Morocco by wandering through its narrow alleys and streets. Our tour will begin with a visit to the Royal Palace gate and the Jewish quarter, including the first-ever Mellah built in Morocco during the 16th century. We will ensure that you don't miss any culturally or historically significant sites, such as the renowned Al Qaraouine University - the oldest in the region - the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, we'll take you to visit the tiles cooperative and then enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the entire Fes Medina. Finally, you can unwind and enjoy dinner before retiring for the night at the hotel.
At 8:00 a.m., your guide will pick you up from your riad/hotel in Fes, and we'll begin our journey towards Merzouga, home of the stunning sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. This eight-hour excursion will take us across the Atlas Mountains to the southern region of Morocco, Our route will take us through the Tafilalet, the largest oasis in Morocco, which is comprised of numerous villages, palmeries, and two main Saharan towns - Erfoud and Rissani. During the journey, we'll make several stops, including at the alpine town of Ifrane, the Azrou cedar forest where you can see monkeys, and Midelt, where we'll have lunch. We'll also stop at the Ziz Valley to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the palm trees and the green valley amidst the Sahara. As we continue our journey towards the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, we'll venture deeper into the desert landscape until the dunes appear seemingly out of nowhere. You'll enjoy dinner and an overnight camel trek in a traditional Berber-tented camp.
In the morning, you'll receive an early wake-up call amidst the sand dunes to give you the opportunity to witness a stunning Saharan sunrise by climbing the dunes. Afterward, you'll ride back to the hotel on camelback for breakfast and a shower. Our next destination is the Dades Valley, and we'll make a stop at Erfoud to visit a fossil museum. Our journey will take us through Tinjdad and Tinghir, where we'll follow a road through the Todgha Gorge along the river lined with palm trees. We'll take a brief 30-minute stop at the steep Todgha Gorge to explore, take pictures, breathe in the fresh mountain air, smell the herbs, and stroll along the river's running stream. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in the area. After a break, we'll continue driving 72km to the Dades Valley, where houses are built on the mountainside. Here, you'll visit the Kasbah at the entrance of the magnificent Dades Gorges, and we'll have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will embark on a scenic drive to Marrakech via the Dades Valley, also known as the Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs. Along the way, we will pass through El Kelaa Mgouna, where beautiful roses bloom in the spring, and stop at Skoura, a fertile oasis that boasts a magnificent fortified residence. We'll also make a stop at Ouarzazate, nicknamed "Moroccan Hollywood" due to its popularity as a filming location for many famous movies and TV shows. Here, you'll have the option to visit a cinema studio or museum. Our next stop will be at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning Kasbah that has been featured in numerous films and shows, including Game of Thrones. You'll have about an hour to explore the Kasbah before we continue our journey to Marrakech. Our route will take us through the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains, culminating in a visit to the Tizi n Tichka Pass, the highest point in Morocco at an altitude of 2260m. We'll enjoy lunch at a restaurant amidst the mountains before continuing on to Marrakech. We will spend the night at a hotel and enjoy dinner there as well.

You'll start by exploring Jemaa El Fna Square, a traditional meeting point for farmers and merchants from the High Atlas and the South of Morocco, which has now become the heart of Marrakech. This vast square is surrounded by the souk district, shops, and workshops, and is packed with fruit, spice, and plant vendors, storytellers, snake charmers, and much more, Next, you will visit the 14th century Iben Youssef Medersa, with its intricate motifs and stunning architecture, followed by a trip to see the Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the bustling souks. Marrakech was perfectly situated on the Saharan trade routes and quickly evolved into a major craft and trade center. You'll break for lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to the famous Majorelle Garden, created by the renowned French artist Jaques Majorelle in 1917. Afterward, you'll tour the newer parts of the city before returning to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
