1 DAY 1 : Private Day Trip from Marrakech to Casablanca

Start your day with an early pick-up (7:00 AM) from your hotel or riad where your driver will be waiting to take you on a comfortable 3-hour drive through the fertile Gharb plains, crossing the motorway, and making a quick stop at a rest area halfway to Casablanca. Once you arrive in the metropolitan city, your local guide will join you to begin your exploration of Casablanca. Your first stop will be the legendary Hassan II Mosque, an impressive structure designed by a French architect that took 6 years to build. As you approach, you'll see its majestic 210-meter-tall minaret dominating the sky, blending Islamic architecture with Moroccan elements. Afterward, you'll proceed to the Corniche of Casablanca, located in the seaside neighborhood of Ain Diab, famous for its trendy clubs, restaurants, cafes, and hotels. You can take a leisurely walk by the seaside, or maybe enjoy a cup of mint tea at one of the cafes. Next, you'll visit the Medina of Casablanca, which may not be as old as Marrakech or Fes but still retains its residential character with its narrow streets. From there, you’ll head to the city center to visit the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, built by the French colonials in the 1930s. You'll then continue to United Nations Place and Arab League Square, where you can witness the art deco buildings on the sides of the street. If you're feeling peckish, you may opt to have lunch at the legendary Rick's Café, a recreated version of the gin joint bar in the classic movie "Casablanca." Just let us know when booking, and we'll reserve a table for you. After lunch, you'll pass through the fancy residential area before taking the motorway back to Marrakech, enjoying a relaxing 3-hour ride. At the end of your day trip to Casablanca, you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the nearest car-accessible point to your riad, having experienced an unforgettable adventure exploring the beautiful city of Casablanca.
