We will traverse the Atlas Mountains to Tafilalte, consisting of numerous villages and two primary Saharan towns, and then on to Erfoud and Rissani. Along the way, we will frequently stop to admire the scenic mountain town of Ifrane, the Cedar Forest in Azrou, Midelt for lunch, and Ziz Valley for stunning palm tree views. Finally, when we spot some dunes, we'll ride camels to the campsite, where we'll have dinner and spend the night at a beautiful desert camp.
After breakfast, we will immediately ride camels back to the hotel for a quick shower before heading to Rissani, a desert town. Then, we will travel towards Erfoud, where we'll stop to visit a fossil workshop. After that, we will head north to the stunning Todra canyons, known for their popular rock climbing spots, and spend the second night at a hotel in Todra gorges with dinner and an overnight stay.
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will start our journey on the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs. We will travel through the Dades Valley, climbing up to the mountainous region where you will see many Berber villages and meet some nomads who live in caves to understand their daily lives and primary activities. As you travel to the Skoura palm grove, you will be fascinated by the stunning landscapes of the colorful rose valley. Finally, we will arrive in Ouarzazate, where you will check into your hotel, enjoy dinner, and spend the third night of the tour.
After having breakfast on the final day, you will pay a visit to the film sets and studios located in Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa." Then, you will proceed to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which is a World Heritage Site and has been used as a film location for more than 20 films, including "Gladiator," "Indiana Jones," and "Lawrence of Arabia."
